Start falls to Norwalk 26-7

The Start Spartans played host to the Norwalk Truckers in the opening week of the Ohio high school football season. Norwalk’s Nico Helton led all rushers with 85 yards on 29 carries and 3 touchdowns in route to the Truckers winning on the road 26-7. Also for the visitors quarterback Braydon Viok passed for 133 yards and a touchdown while going 10 of 18. Start was carried by Tai’Rese Highsmith’s 76 yards and a score on six carries. Spartan quarterback Preston Edwards went 12 of 24 for 137 yards and an interception in the losing effort.
