Scott falls to Lima Senior in the City League Semifinals

The Lima Senior Spartans defeated the second seeded Scott Bulldogs 51-44 to advance to the Toledo City League championship game on 2/15/24. Led by Jagger Hutchins and Shawn Foster’s 16 & 13 points the Spartans were able hold off a Bulldog team that rallied from a halftime deficit to take the lead but went cold in the 4th quarter. Scott was led by Daryl Barnett’s 14 points and he was aided by Mario Peters 13. Lima Senior advances to play the 4th seeded Rogers Rams in the title game after they stunned the defending champion Start Spartans 48-41 in the other semifinal game. The final will be held 2/15/24 at the Waite Fieldhouse at 7pm.
