Glass City Marathon 2024

This year’s addition of the Glass City Marathon was affected by off and on by light to heavy rain as the participants of the full and half marathons trudged to the finish line. The men’s overall winner was Derek Stone 36 of Westlake, Ohio finishing at 2:28:30 and the second-place finisher was Tevin Brown 27 of Columbus, Ohio with 2:28:57. On the Women’s side Kathleen Lawrence, 39 of Toronto, Ontario won with a time of 2:53:57 while Claire Steigerwald, 24 of Blacklick, Ohio came in second at 2:58:55. Even with the rain taking its toll on the participants were in great spirits and supported by an energetic crowd of spectators.
