Oilers route Timberwolves 34-14 on Homecoming Day

Northwood traveled to Findlay Saturday and immediately scored on a fumble return by Mahlon Slaughter. The Oilers would score on a one-yard plunge by Garrett Clark. Another scoop and score by the Timberwolves would ensure them the lead 14-7 after the 1st quarter. The Findlay offense gradually picked up steam being led by the rushing duo of Garrett Clark (24 carries for 97yds and a score) and Jayden Farmer (19 carries for 85yds and 2 tds). Quarterback Jeremy Hunt added a 67-yard bomb to Bryan Hunt and finish the day 16-27 for 202yds through the air. The Oiler defense was stout all day holding Northwood to 169yds of total offense and 4 turnovers. Findlay improves to 2-4 and will travel to Kentucky Wesleyan on 10/15.
