Resilient Bulldogs Win in OT

Maumee Valley Country Day came out firing in a home clash against the Scott Bulldogs taking a 14-8 first quarter lead. MVCD’s balanced attack David Parcher (22), CJ Majors (21) & Amoni Dickerson (10) points shook Scott until three consecutive dunks two by Romel Hightower, the other by Hezekiah Ray gave them some much needed momentum. The teams traded shots in the fourth quarter, but the bulldogs were able to tie the game sending it into overtime tied at 55. While in overtime Scott out hustled a seemingly gassed MVCD outscoring them 19-6 for a 74-61 victory. The Bulldogs were led by Hightower (31), Jaali Peterson (15) and Ahmad Boone (13) points.
