Clutch plays help Start complete there comeback versus Scott

9/7/23 Scott jumped out to an 18-6 lead before Start’s Byron Jackson intercepted a Bulldog pass for a pick six just before the half. Scott, led by Daryl Barnett’s 122yds rushing and 3 touchdowns couldn’t hold off the Spartans. Late in the 4th quarter the Bulldogs Jaden Sims was stripped of the ball by Start’s Marvin Thompson. Shortly after Jonah Tall raced for a 38-yard touchdown to give the Spartans the lead and the win 30-26 over the defending City League Champs. Both teams are now 1-3 on the season.
